Description & Construction
-
Thermal Breaks: To prevent the “thermal bridge” effect where cold travels through the metal, the Eastman uses kiln-dried pine end blocks. Wood is a natural insulator, making this far superior to doors with steel end caps.
-
InterLok™ Joint: A mechanical joint between sections featuring a triple-contact weatherseal to stop air infiltration.
-
Durability: Both the interior and exterior are 26-gauge galvanized steel with a light woodgrain texture. The interior is always finished in White.
-
Dura+ Hardware: Includes 14-gauge galvanized tracks and high-performance weatherstripping that remains flexible even at -40°C.
