Liah has overseen all aspects of marketing and operations from rapidly scaling customer acquisition to driving down procurement costs, and has managed brand integrations and synergy projects across multiple acquisitions. She has also overseen integration, rationalization, and value realization across several M&A transactions, with a focus on marketing and operational synergies.

David Villalta

VP Business Development & Growth

David is a seasoned investment executive with over 15 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, and investments. Background spanning multiple sectors in both public and private markets having managed over $600 million in investments at prominent banks and as Chief Investment Officer for a family office. Excel in leading executive-level efforts for acquiring, integrating, and rapidly expanding target companies within operational entities. Strengths include strategic insights, financial acumen, and a successful track record of delivering substantial growth and value. Recent transactions include acquiring and integrating a group of primary care/walk-in clinics along with acquiring and expanding a portfolio of multi-residential real estate.

Rick Mah

Chief Financial Officer

Rick has more than 20 years of corporate finance experience in technology and hospitality industries. During that time, he has held progressively senior finance roles with public and private companies. He has supported numerous financing activities helping raise over $700 million of capital. In addition, he was a key contributor in a number of strategic transactions, ranging from $1 million to $3.4 billion, including valuation and integration activities. Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and CFA Charterholder.

Dr. Krista Hennigar

ND, Director Medical

Dr. Krista Hennigar, ND is a naturopathic physician based in Kelowna, British Columbia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. With a strong focus on patient education and empowerment, Dr. Hennigar takes a holistic and individualized approach to healthcare, addressing the root causes of health issues rather than just treating symptoms. She has a special interest in women’s health, including hormone balancing, fertility, and pregnancy support, as well mental health. Dr. Hennigar has been honoured with being the first naturopathic physician to be trained at the Betty Ford Institute. Dr. Hennigar is an active member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She regularly participates in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in naturopathic medicine. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hennigar is also a sought-after speaker and has presented on various health topics to both the public and other healthcare professionals. 

Dr. David Hatton

ND, Director Clinic Operations

Dr. David Hatton, ND is a licensed naturopathic doctor based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology at the University of British Columbia and received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC. Dr. Hatton’s clinical focus is in aesthetics medicine and has received multiple local awards for his abilities. He takes an evidence-based and individualized approach to patient care, combining traditional naturopathic therapies with modern medical knowledge to provide comprehensive treatment plans. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hatton is a frequent lecturer on natural health topics and has been featured in local media outlets and is the founder and CEO of The Injector Academy. He is also an active member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. Harpreet Lotay

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Lotay, MD, CCFP, PgDipDerm, is a physician and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience serving patients in Kamloops and a proven track record in medical aesthetics and business leadership. She earned her medical degree with distinction from the University of Alberta, where she was awarded the prestigious Mewburn Medal in Surgery, and has since built a career that blends surgical precision, artistic sensibility, and evidence-based care.

Her interest in the intersection of medicine and aesthetics led her to complete a Private Practice Fellowship in Oculoplastics with Dr. Alan Wulc in Philadelphia—an experience that deepened her commitment to facial aesthetics grounded in anatomy and clinical science. She later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London and earned certification in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Lotay is a business leader who founded one of the most trusted medical aesthetics clinics in British Columbia, achieving top-tier ZO Skin Health sales across the province. She holds advanced training in aesthetic lasers through the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and remains committed to staying at the forefront of innovation in the field.

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Lotay brings a unique philosophy to aesthetics: empowering patients and clinicians through education about facial aging and delivering treatment plans rooted in safety, efficacy, and science. Her approach is deeply patient-centered, combining thoughtful artistry with clinical precision to deliver natural, confident results.

Chris Fregren

Chairman of the Board

Chris is a seasoned financial leader who co-founded the second largest Canadian dental service organization and significantly expanded a major laboratory company in Canada before its sale to a US competitor. He has a strong history in growth and turnaround situations, with involvement in over $2 billion in acquisitions, public offerings, bond offerings, and numerous banking transactions in Canada and the US, as well as 4 private equity deals.

Beyond finance, Chris has managed ERP system installations and upgrades, built large financial teams, and has expertise in risk management, including cyber protection and financial hedging. He emphasizes cash flow optimization and fosters collaborative relationships, focusing on win-win outcomes with both internal teams and external service providers.

Kory Zelickson

Kory is an experienced leader and serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of expertise in introducing cutting-edge technologies to the market and leveraging digital platforms for customer expansion and revenue growth. Throughout his career, Kory has been involved in various aspects of business operations, from supply chain management and vendor selection to distribution optimization. He has also overseen functions such as business development, M&A strategies, investor relations, and the implementation of advanced technologies. As an engineer by training, Kory is dedicated to data-driven decision-making and risk management, consistently achieving successful outcomes. Kory’s influential roles as an officer and director in public and private organizations have played a significant role in orchestrating impactful IPOs, securing substantial financing, and facilitating M&A transactions, totaling over $1B in value.

Darren Gill

Darren is a proven global business leader with a history of rapidly scaling businesses through M&A and operational excellence. He has held senior management and board roles in both public and private companies, focusing primarily on M&A and enhancing operational value. Darren previously served as the Director of Lean Transformation for a multinational automotive firm, where he played a pivotal role in managing and revitalizing the global supply chain. His accomplishments included implementing a new ERP system, vendor consolidation, master services agreement implementation, and boosting inventory rotations from less than 2 turns to 8 per year. Additionally, Darren led Deloitte’s BC M&A team, specializing in Integration and Separation Advisory. In this capacity, he advised clients on business integrations, EBITDA enhancement, and operational optimization. Over his career, he has overseen more than 50 transactions, totaling over $9 billion in value.
